Water

Ajwain seeds
Ajwain or carrom seeds help in facilitating the release of gastric juices, and thus boosts the digestive system. It is good for gastric problems.
To subside flatulence and upset stomach you can take ajwain seeds along with rock salt.

Fennel seeds
Often used as a mouth freshener, fennel seeds (saunf) contain compounds like fenchone and estragole that prevent the formation of gas in the intestinal tract. These compounds help in secreting a lot of gastric juices and smoothening our digestive system. Fennel seeds also possess antispasmodic properties that mean they relax the muscles of the stomach and intestine. Fennel seeds can be chewed or you can take them with water or in the form of tea.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon has components like eugenol and linalool that help in stimulating digestion. It is a good remedy for heat burn stomach irritation too. It helps in settling flatulence, bloating, belching, and abdominal cramping. U can make cinnamon tea and use it as a remedy for indigestion
Asafoetida
For subsiding flatulence, asafoetida with a glass of hot water can help you. You can add a Little sugar in it for taste.
Baking soda
Some foods like beans, cabbage, and so on can lead to indigestion. Indigestion can sometimes occur due to acidity as well. And to curb acidity, baking soda is a good option. Baking soda acts as an antacid and neutralizes the effect of acid by reacting with an excess of hydrochloric acid in the stomach.
Apple cider vinegar
Apple Cide Vinegar contains minerals like sodium, potassium, calcium, and many more. These minerals help indigestion. Also, vinegar is acidic in nature that prevents acid reflux by breaking down fats. If you are a digestion problem sufferer, you can take vinegar along with water. It is also enclosed with acidic acid therefore cures indigestion due to its alkalinity.
Lemon water
Lemon improves digestion and neutralizes acid in the stomach because of its alkalinity. Warm water with few drops of lemon can be taken before feeds. It also helps in reducing tummy fat.
Moreover, you can prevent indigestion by
- Drinking a lot of water
- Eating food slowly.
- Chew while you eat.
- Avoid drinking while you eat. Rather drink water after the meals.
- Walk for sometime after you eat.
- Do not eat heavy foods in excess.
