We all fascinate towards colourful, fragrant and the soaps advertised by our favorite divas! But are they really good for your skin? In markets, there are a lot of brands selling soaps in very high prices.

We must know that soaps contain harmful fillers and caustic soda in it which is not a bit good for your skin and health. Don’t get attracted towards its fragrance and look!

Even the baby soaps too contain such chemicals in them, which can give dullness to the tender baby’s skin. So what to do?

What can be the alternative of soaps?

The best thing will be to avoid soaps and start using homemade bathing powders. Although, we can’t leave the soaps fully so we can opt for homemade soaps.

Yes, let us move to our recipe for 3 types of bathing soaps which is best for your skin and each one has its own peculiarity.

3 Types of Homemade Bathing Soaps:

1. Neem Soap-

In our list, the first one is neem soap. Neem or Margosa is a well-known herb, mostly known for its anti-bacterial and skin cleansing properties. It treats all the skin problems, ranging to major and minor.

Neem soap can be a bliss for acne, pimples, dullness, blackheads, itchiness, rashes and other skin problems.

How to prepare this?

  • Take glycerine bar and cut it into cubes. Microwave for 30  seconds so that it gets melt.
  • Take it in a measuring cup and put 2-3 tablespoons of neem powder or fresh neem paste, 2 teaspoons of glycerine 3-4 drops of essential oil.
  • Mix well and put into molds. Refrigerate it for 5 hours and take out. Your neem soap is ready to soap.

It is like the antibacterial soap, suitable for all. If anyone is suffering from skin problems like itchiness, rashes etc then it is very beneficial.

2. Coffee Exfoliating soap-

Exfoliation helps to take out dead cells from the skin and let the skin breath. Our second type if of coffee soap. Coffee grounds is well-known for its exfoliating properties.

This soap actually polishes your body, giving it radiance and glow. Let’s see its preparation.

How to prepare this?

  • Take a bar of aloe soap as the base and cut it into cubes.
  • Melt it nicely and mix 2 teaspoons of coffee grounds, 4-5 drops of lavender oil.
  • Mix well and set it into molds.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours and here you go with your coffee soap.

3. Rose soap-

Beautiful roses help to enhance the beauty and give a pinkish tint to your skin! Rose helps to keep the skin soft maintaining its pH balance. Today let us see how to prepare rose soap at home.

How to prepare this?

  1. Take glycerine soap bar and cut it into pieces. Melt it.
  2. Now take 3-4 pink roses and grind it to form a puree.
  3. Mix it with the soap liquid. Also add 3 teaspoons of rose water, 2 teaspoon of coconut oil into it.
  4. Mix well and set into moulds.
  5. Here you go with your homemade rose soap.
