Natural Teething remedies for happy teething:
For my baby, I tried all these following listed remedies. I must say, these really works if you follow it in the correct sequence and taking care of baby’s diet and lifestyle too.
These are free from any artificial things and you can try it freely.
1. Massage the gums with honey–
Massaging the tender gums with hones becomes very useful not only to minimize but also to prevent the discomforts. This works, only if you start the massage early, like from 4-5 months of age.
- For this get unfiltered and natural honey. Clean your hands properly and take 2 drops of honey on your index finger.
- Apply and massage on the upper and lower gums. Do this twice a day.
For me it really worked, touch wood, but this made the teething so easy in my baby that I didn’t know when he got his cute and pearl teeth. If your baby is also 4 or 5 months, then start using it right now.
If he/she is 6 then still you can start, it may give little fewer results as you have started it little late.
2. Gripe water-
Gripe water is a very good thing when it comes about teeth eruption in babies. Even doctors too suggest using this while teething. It helps to prevent colic, stomach gas, and constipation; which are very common during teething.
Personally, I used Woodward gripe water for my son when he was in his teething period. Not just in, I use it once in a while in order to keep the digestion well and okay.
3. Teethers and sticks of Carrots and Cucumbers-
While the baby is getting teeth, he/she wants to chew and bite something always. In addition, they get sore gums which irritates a lot. In this teethers helps a lot.
You can use medical-grade silicone teethers of good brands. Give these to your baby to chew, you can also use water-filled and frozen ones too, these will cure the sore gums effectively.
If you want a healthy alternative, then use carrots and cucumbers for this. Cut these in sticks and freeze it. Give these frozen veggie sticks to the baby. The frozen thing will relief their gums.
For eased and happy teeth, you can gently massage the gums o the baby on a regular basis. Also, press all the points of foot and hands, it is reflexology therapy.
As a parent, we will never want our little cuties to get any type of pain. Hope you found the post useful. In any type o question of queries, do comment and ask.
Take care and live well!
