Horse gram is an annual plant, densely growing, low-growing or climbing, slender, herbaceous legume reaching 30-60 cm in height with slightly hairy stems. The stems, leaves, and husks are used as fodder or green manure and seeds are fed to cattle and horses.

  • Take 25 gm of horse gram and boil it in 200 gm of water.
  • Boil till it gets soft and water reduces to 50 gm.
  • Take this dosage as twice a day, as soup.
  • You can add little rock salt and few drops of lemon in it, for a better taste.

Doing this for 7 days, is very effective for urinary stones. Make sure before you start the treatment, go for a scan and checkout the current severity of stones. Again go for the scan after 15-20 days. You will notice the results yourselves.

Horse gram will dissolve the stones, which will get easily passed out from urine passage.

Hello,actually i have total number of 12 stones larger were 14mm in my both kidney, I was gone through lazer operation as they were slips down to my urine tube, i was facing so much of pain, but after my operation, i am facing a issue in my urine their is blood coming regularly and having pain during toilet, so kindly suggest me what should i do, Do i go again for checkup or do have some more medicine, i am using kulti daal but not in the manner you guys suggested above, i use to soak it over night and having that soaked kulthi daal and water in morning.

    • It’s bad to hear your condition Anurag! You should go to the doctors and hospital. Your case it quite critical, and in such Ayurvedic remedies and home treatments will have very less effects. Although you went for the laser surgery too, you should get advised from the nephrologist too.

  2. I read a different suggestion. One is to just soak the dal in a clay container overnight. And drink the water in the morning. What do you think of that?
