When we talk about; Which is your favourite season? 7 out of 10 will answer winters. Winter season brings lots of snow, soft woollens and a chance to have your favourite delicacies; as this time the digestive system tends to be much stronger. It is the arrival of November and winters are about to come. Winter season also brings lots of diseases, health afflictions and several issues which doesn’t allows us to live our winters with joy. So, in order to enjoy your winters you should stay well and fit.

None of us wants to get up early in winter; quilts and blankets are the favourite stuffs of winter season! These small changes in our lifestyle makes us sedentary and hence our body immunity starts getting low; which is like a greeting card for health issues. Can you play snowball fight with a running nose? Or can you enjoy Christmas with feverish body? No, as a fact in order to celebrate your winters like a festival you have to stay fit and well.

Winter is the season when temperature falls and the climate turns chilling. Few years back, the arrival of winters was between October-November but due to the global warming; this has extended to November-December. It is the starting of November which means starting of winters.   Freezing winds has knocked your doors, so let’s make our mind that we will not let our health to decline even a bit. According to medical councilors, as compared to other seasons the number of patients increases in winters. In winters the chances of brain strokes and heart attacks are very high. So the best way to keep these ailments away from us; is to make our immune system tip-top and healthy.

Methods to prepare winter herbal tea:-

  1. Take a green cardamom, 2-3 black pepper, 2-3 pieces of cinnamon sticks, 4-5 leaves of Holy basil and 2 inches of ginger.
  2. Crush all these little bit so that it releases the total aroma and juices
  3. Boil all these ingredients in 2 glasses of water in a low flame.
  4. Turn off the flame when the water gets to half glass.
  5. It tastes very tart and bitter; so add a or two teaspoon of honey in it.
  6. Strain it and drink as the tea.
  7. For immediate results, sip tea twice a day.

It is very good to keep away cough and cold and also abides several seasonal infections. It is also beneficial to cut extra fat from the body.
